Live Tracking

Live Tracking will be activated on the launch day, scheduled for 16 Sept 2016 (Friday) just prior to take-off.

Each balloon will be equipped with a satellite-tracker that transmits location and altitude. This information will be displayed here. Locations will support the coordination with Air Traffic Control units enroute.
Screenshots below had been taken during the 2015 edition of the Coupe Aéronautique Gordon Bennett; the red bold line shows the winning track and altitude of Team SUI-01 (Frieden/Witprächtiger).
